How it al begon?

In 1984 Vruwink in Holland built the first VMC chassis. He started with his two employees Henk and Gerard to build a motocross sidecar chassis. He gave his own name to his product, so VMC stands for Vruwink MotorCycles. VMC had big names on their product and won several Worldchampion titles with Husser and Fuhrer.

In 1995, Vruwink sold his company and the name to Bakens. Bakens who was already living in Belgium started a new business, Bakens Benelux Service BVBA. But nothing changed for the VMC sidecars; and they are still built today by the two same people (Henk and Gerard) who are very specialised and known worldwide as frame builders and welders.

This product is today the best and strongest in the world as only the very best materials are used!!
